Color Inspiration #7
Time for another of Kristina's Werner Color Inspired card. This one goes along the lines of these colors...
... and here is my card!
This card opens up like a flower with four petals. Just undo the knot, slip the ribbon off the right side and this is what you have inside:
The patterned papers are from American Crafts. I'm an AC hoarder and I hate to use the pretty paper. I'd rather frame it but I cut through this one because it was just too perfect for Kristina's challenge. The rest of the colors are Stampin' Up!'s Very Vanilla and Close to Cocoa. The images for both the top and inside seals (where the ribbon goes through) is from the set Boxes, Bags & Tags by Papertrey Ink, and they are stamped with Close to Cocoa from SU. The sentiment inside is stamped in Soft Sky and Close to Cocoa with Stampin' Up!'s Bursting with Joy images. Loooooove that set!!! So elegant. I have punched corners of the inside piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with an old Fiskars corner punch. The ribbon is of course SU's satin Chocolate Chip. The ends of the ribbon were left a little longer than usual to facilitate the knot-making when I close it back up. The blue layer of the front seal was embossed and pierced with the Pick a Petal Classy Brass stencil from SU and then punched out with the Scallop Circle punch, also from SU. The vanilla front flap was pierced using the same Pick a Petal stencil. I loved making that card so I hope you enjoy it!
